There were plenty of smiles and laughs on July 15 as the Sisters living in Emma Hall at the Maria Joseph Center in Dayton celebrated council for its last four years of service to the Congregation with prayer and root beer floats.

Current council members also thanked the Sisters for their many prayers and good thoughts.

“I don’t think you realize just how much your prayers mean to us,” said Sister Joyce Lehman, president. “Your prayers carry us through some of the tougher times.”

The current council terms ended Aug. 1. The newly-elected council will serve through August 2019.
