The Sisters at Salem Heights celebrated Mardi Gras on Feb. 9 with stories and, of course, three different flavors of king cake. Before digging into their treat, they discussed the origins of the unofficial holiday and shared memories of past celebrations. Sister Rosemary (M.Christa) Lindemann found the baby Jesus in her piece of cake and was crowned the 2016 Mardi Gras queen.
