Empowering Our Sisters and Brothers with Knowledge

Centuries ago, Sir Francis Bacon coined a familiar phrase: “Knowledge is power.” In our modern world, these words ring truer than ever before. Education is a gateway to opportunity and self-sufficiency. It has the power to lift people out of poverty, to foster understanding among cultures, and to inspire innovation that leads to new technologies and processes that improve lives around the world. We believe that educating our sisters and brothers — yound and old — is integral to making the world a better place by easing suffering and helping the less fortunate find their voice; delivering on the Eucharist promise for a new life. Our sisters carry out our education ministry on the frontlines of education in inner cities, rural areas, public and private and secondary schools, and even in prestigious universities and research institutions.
